Modern Warfare 2: Multiplayer tutorial

Me and [JDL]Zeus playing in Spec-ops mode

Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer has left a sour taste in PC community's mouth, but there is still a chance to you try it out even without legit game or dedicated server using VPN. Following is your guide to playing multiplayer using pirated game. Here is your guide:

Common setup

1. You will need a VPN client like tunngle or hamachi. you can grab it from downloads section
2. Download the Razors cracked exe, and replace your existing files with this file
3. Download Teknogods game launcher and extract it in your game folder too.
4. Logon to your steam account. (just to be safe, make a fake accoutn rather than using ur legit account). You just have to logon to steam, there is no need to configure game with steam.
5. OPTIONAL: For xfire support inside the game, dont forget to configure game with steamfire
6. Once all this is setup both the players joina  common room on tunngle or same network on hamachi.

Server setup

1. Run game via TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe
2. Go in Spec-ops menu
3. Create Two player game, setup the map etc and wait in lobby

Client setup

1. Create a shortcut or batch file of TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe
2. edit this shortcut/bat and add --ip= at the end
3. e.g. if you are both on tunngle and the host/server ip is 7.0.111.4 then your shortcut will look like:
   "\TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe" --ip=7.0.111.4
4. Launch the game via this shortcut
5. Go in spec-ops mode
6. Press F12
7. Game will auto connect to server ip you mentioned in shortcut
8. Play the game

Currently this method supports Spec-ops coop mode only. I will inform and update this post when competative multiplayer option is available.
