If you have played "Scratches" game then this will feel similiar experience. Scratches was much reputed for its horror chills. But didnt hit mainstream audience as gameplay was slow (First person point and click adventure). This game is from the same developer, so i wont expect much evolution interms of gameplay.

But wht i really dont understand is that why asylums in movies and games have to be so dark and gloomy. it would even make a sane mane insane. wont it?
