DarkSpore has been in news for quite some time as "Spores 2", but the name change represents a new "darker" twist to spores mechanics. The game is essentially a spores creature creation meets diablo game. You control a team of genetic creatures. Spores it self was a flop game with little substance but one thing it did have good was how you could make your own alien creatures and enhance their abilties using body parts, well now an action RPG is going to use that mechanism for an action game where you get to fight other creatures on planet in a full story based campgain.
The game takes a page from many games like diablo, pokemon and left 4 dead. Game will feature full 4 player co-op online mode for PC and whole campgain can be played as single player or in co-op mode. And it would be intersting to see an RPG where you gather body parts to enahnce rather than weapons and armor.
